[vc_row full_width=”” parallax=”” parallax_image=””][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Here’s how it all went down on their wedding day. The ceremony and reception was at La Playita Restaurant. Christine and Fabian had 53 guests of friends and family and were all on the cruise ship from Los Angeles. They stopped in Vallarta for the day, but instead of going shopping and seeing the town, they got married and had a lunch reception instead.

To start the day, the wedding coordinator arrived at the location La Playita Restaurant beach to supervise ceremony set up, which included a bamboo altar with light blue and ivory chiffon fabrics for the ceremny and came with 50 chairs white wooden chairs for the guests to sit. For the ceremony there was a  Starfish decorations with raffia for the chairs and a burlap runner with light blue chiffon fabrics with seashells.

The ceremony was officiated by Minister Martina Goldberg of Puerto Vallarta. Martina has been a long time Vallarta resident and is a renouned specialist of spiritual healing. Her ceremony is very spiritual. The guitarist for ceremony was Lenny and sang beautiful songs for the entrance, signing of the certificate and exit or recessional. There was a unity sand ceremony while the guitarist Lenny played an acoustic version of Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. Really cool! At the end of the ceremony Lenny played  I’m Yours by Jason Mraz. He did a great job.

Then there was a cocktail hour followed by dinner. For the reception the set up inside the restaurant had 6 tables of 8 persons each and 1 table of 2 persons (bride and groom obviously).

On the menu for the wedding was Mexican Canapes, Taquitos de pollo / Chicken taquitos, Sopes de picadillo / Corn – flour patties filled with ground beef with tomato sauce. Nachos, quesadillas with flour tortilla and corn tortillas, Guacamole, “totopos” or chips, Mexican Sauce, Salsa Molcajete / grilled tomatos with garlit and chille serrano  and salt crushed in a stone mortar. Garnishes included sour cream and grated cheese. La Playita is a popular and fun location that is famous for their Sunday brunch all you can eat.

There were 50 natural colored tiffany chairs for the reception and on the dinner tables were centerpieces made up of seasells centerpiece, 2 blue pillar candles in a glass cylinder vase, 2 blue (or white) starfish and small seashells on each table.

The Wedding Cake was a vanilla cake with strawberry filling with butter cream icing and decorated with seashells for up to 50 persons. The bride brought a two palm heart shape cake topper.

The transportation was arranged for 50 persons from the Cruiseship to La pLayita and back to the cruise ship in express vans.

Michael and Eva, the wedding coordinators took care of everything and were in charge of consulting, providing information and prices, making all the wedding ceremony and reception arrangements with the vendors, wedding day Itinerary, attending a meeting upon your arrival and full on-site supervision and direction of the wedding day.

The Photographer was Aldo Tovar and took some great shots of the whole wedding.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”32px”][vc_gallery type=”image_grid” interval=”3″ onclick=”link_image” custom_links_target=”_self” img_size=”200×100″ images=”2051,2052,2053,2054,2055,2056,2057,2058,2059,2060,2061,2062,2063,2064,2065,2066,2067,2068,2069,2070,2071,2072,2073,2074,2075,2076,2077,2078″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
